Implementation Demand Management System

For my client, Logius in The Hague, I was responsible for the projectmanagement of the implementation of a Demand Management system in ServiceNow. The solution architect designed the process and several engineers built the system. After several tests with the testers and stakeholders, the system was released to production and is now fully operational.

Information technology and information system demand managers seek to understand in advance how to best meet the needs and expectations of customers, clients, partners, and enablers. Thus, proper forecast and sizing of demand is required in order to deliver a stable and effective technology environment.

The capacity manager of all the ‘Voorzieningen’ are able to forecast the resources they need for the next four quarters. The sum of all predictions determines what the customer needs in terms of CPU, memory and storage and what it will cost them. It is also possible to quickly scale down to save costs.
